Why should you view this course?

With demand for FR coatings blooming, there is no doubt a huge potential for increasing business in the unsaturated market! However, regulatory restrictions and meeting the specific customers' performance expectations for your chosen market are easier said than done. Without a clear vision of the targeted end-user application and thorough selection of raw materials, your product could lose its market edge.

Let us take you in the right direction:

  1. Achieve optimal properties between application demands (train, aircraft, commercial buildings…) and product development capabilities.

  2. Make the most of your budget with intelligent assessment of testing (in-house vs lab).

  3. Easily succeed in governing body certification tests with effective prototype screening and achieve market success.

  4. Understand how the markets work in the EU and US, what would be a good fit for your company, and how soon you can expect to bring products to market.

Who should join this course?
  • Formulators, people working in R&D, product development and management, marketing interested in formulating FR coatings and expanding into markets like commercial buildings, public buildings, architectural type coatings, industrial applications, transportation (aircraft, train), chemical plants, etc.

  • Complete the course and (unlock your personalized certificate)– your badge of accomplishment awaits!

Questions you will be able to answer after this course:
  1. How do I select the right flame retardant additives to meet US and EU regulations?

  2. What are the best non-toxic and halogen-free alternatives for flame retardant coatings?

  3. What kind of testing do I need to do? Where can I find out about those tests and if I need to have outside tests done, how do I find a laboratory to do that?
