Why should you view this course?

Does Sunlight appear harmless to your plastics initially but with time there comes fading, brittleness, and ultimately, failure?

These are all signs of the wrong selection of UV additives for plastics. Join this course to put an end to it and master the selection of UV additives for your plastic application, learn how to combat UV degradation, and design and manufacture long-lasting plastic products that stand the test of time. Delve into the science behind UV-induced degradation in plastics and learn how UV radiation triggers molecular changes leading to degradation.

  1. Discover the consequences of choosing the wrong UV additives and their impact on various industries, avoiding costly mistakes.

  2. Understand how other additives can interact with UV filters and affect their effectiveness, ensuring optimal performance.

  3. Learn how heat accelerates UV degradation and develop effective strategies to combat this combined threat.

  4. Navigate the world of testing procedures and industry standards with confidence, ensuring product compliance and quality.

Don’t miss out on developing customized UV protection plans tailored to your specific plastic products and desired lifespan!
