Mr. Santiago Llopis Murcia graduated in Chemistry at the University of Valencia, specializing in laminar materials for energy applications. Currently, he works in the Chemical Recycling cell of AIMPLAS as a research technician.

He has experience in the field of plastic materials, chemical and mechanical recycling, life cycle analysis, and characterization of polymers and monomers. He has worked on projects related to the Circular Economy, chemical recycling of thermoplastic, thermosetting, and elastomeric plastics. Within his areas of expertise, he leads the research lines related to the recycling of elastomeric materials and the recovery of critical raw materials from electrical and electronic waste. He is also involved in various polymer waste valorization techniques such as gasification, pyrolysis, solvolysis, selective dissolution, biological degradation, and de-crosslinking.

Why should you view this course?

Is turning chemical recycling into a profitable reality a challenge? Uncertain about the best process for your specific waste stream (post-consumer packaging, end-of-life plastics, mixed plastics waste....)?

This course is designed to help you overcome these obstacles and achieve success in the chemical recycling industry. Gain the knowledge and tools needed to optimize your processes, reduce costs, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

This course will enable you to:

  1. Produce High-Quality Recycled Materials: Overcome contamination challenges and ensure consistent, high-performance materials for your products.

  2. Avoid the risk of being outpaced by competitors: Understand what others are doing right through real-world examples of companies.

  3. Make your recycled product reliable: Take advantage of certifications available in the market for chemical recycling products.
