Tom Bezigian holds a B.S. in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts - Lowell, where he now serves as an Adjunct Professor of Plastics Engineering. He has been affiliated with the converting industry for more than 35 years and has held various positions with Cryovac, Mobil Chemical, James River Corp., Felix Schoeller GmbH.  Mr. Bezigian successfully started, ran and sold a specialty film and packaging company in Syracuse, New York called Great Lakes Technologies.  He now has his own consulting practice called Polymers, Laminations & Coating (PLC) Technologies, in which he provides services for many of the world's largest companies.  The areas he specializes in are new product development, quality and productivity improvement, process troubleshooting and improvement, and expert witness in the film and converting industries. He has written and organized about 100 technical papers, articles, blogs and conferences worldwide, and is the North American editor for Packaging Films Magazine (Germany).  Mr. Bezigian is the editor of the 4th Edition of the TAPPI "Extrusion Coating Manual".
